My son loves these and wants to wear them all the time. No complaints about discomfort, so I assume they're comfy.

I have been on the search for a new pair of boots for a year. These are it! The details are great. Love the red stitching. They are more casual than fancy, but they have a feeling of being handmade. The top of the boots lace and customize the fit. If you get them and can't get them on, make sure that you loosen the lacing.

Overall, these shoes are great. They're very stylish. I'm wearing them purely for fashion, not for sport, so they worked just fine but they do lack cushion in the sole, so after a while, they weren't super comfortable, but also not really uncomfortable. They do seem to run a half size small.
  • Brooks by PureFlow 3 Posted: Oct 24, 2014 Reviewer: Overall: 5 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
I love these. I had been running in Nike running shoes & my whole body paid the price. These shoes are comfortable, cute, supportive, and my back doesn't hurt after my run. I love them & will only buy Brooks from now on.

I shop at Zappos all the time but am usually too lazy and selfish to write reviews. But I like these shoes so much that I feel compelled to review them. I tried about 8 pairs of other sneakers from Zappos, including Fryes (that was a close one, those were super cute), Teva, Ecco, and Superga. Looks-wise Fryes and Superga were a close second, but these ones in Cabernet were still my favorite. And comfort there was no competition -- they are light, have plenty of support and fit my feet just perfectly. Super comfortable, no break in. Probably won't be everyone's cup of tea -- I have somewhat narrow, "low-volume" feet and sneakers are usually quite wide on me. These fit like a glove, so they are probably on a narrow side. Also, I am between 8.5-9 in shoes, but had to order these in 8. Love the leather that is made look like canvas, I still can't believe it's actually leather! Very well made shoe, super happy.

These are beautiful boots! I was disappointed when the calf was too tight. I could zip them but they were uncomfortable and there's no way I could get skinny jeans in there. I've never had a problem getting boots to fit. I have a normal-sized calf at 14.5" and am not overweight. I can't imagine who they are actually manufacturing these boots for! Maybe one really petite woman? This style is not available in the extended calf version so it's back to the drawing board. Very disappointing.

It is very hard to rate this boot. Aesthetically, it looks a bit cheap. It has a wide shaft so that is a plus, but it runs about a size small and it is very difficult to get on. There is something about the actual shoe part of the boot that isn't conducive to getting your foot in. However, once the boot is on, it feels great and is very comfortable.

I loved the look of these boots online, but when I got them the bows on the back were bent and folded. I wasn't sure how to get them straight and still today, two years later they are still crooked. I should have exchanged them before I wore them, but didn't. Now I wear them mostly under sweats late at night taking my dogs for walks, kind of a bummer since they were so expensive and would have been acceptable to wear in public if the bows were perfect.

I like the look of the boots except for the toes. They are extremely pointed and turned up a little too much for me. Otherwise they fit pretty well. I wear a size 9 regularly and I put on a heavy sock with this and that was okay. If you don't wear heavy socks, you might want to downsize.

I'm very picky when it comes to shoes. I really like the color and the style of these. Very versatile you can dress them up or can be very casual. Comfortable as well. Over all great shoe.
